Locanda Sorrento in Campbell absolutely blew us away. Hands down, this was the best and most authentic Italian dining experience we’ve had in the entire county. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt transported. The vibe is warm, charming, and cozy. Just like a little trattoria you’d stumble upon in southern Italy. The staff are all originally from Napoli, greeted us in Italian, and made us feel like family. That hospitality, paired with the quality of the food, made for an unforgettable night. We started with the focaccia basket and an antipasto platter—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For our entrees, we had the gnocchi and a ravioli dish with tiger prawns in a pink sauce. The gnocchi were light, pillowy, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. The ravioli was stuffed with crab and lobster and paired so perfectly with the sauce that we haven’t stopped thinking about it since. This meal was not only delicious—it was special. My husband and I both agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time. We can’t wait to come back for our next special occasion. Grazie, Locanda Sorrento!
The wood fired pizza was awesome. Ambiance holiday lighting was perfect. The service was great. The staff person who sang Happy Birthday to other customer sang like a choir beautifully and was just amazing service from everyone. Loved this place. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be a regular here.
That a beautiful place, so warm and inviting. The holiday decorations were perfect. I really wanted to try their pizza and I’m glad I did, it was delicious. Cooked just right !! It was definitely more than 1 person can eat, but great size. They had a special Ravioli with Salmon, it was awesome. The ravioli itself was fresh and the salmon was flavorful. I also tried the tartufo desert - first of all the presentation was amazing and the taste was out of this world. It was great to pair this with a cafe latte .... The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable- I will be back !!
Fresh off a trip to Sorrento , the ambiance of this place made me feel that I had stepped right back into the Amalfi Coast. The ravioli di aragosta was rich, and had the flavor of fresh lobster meat. The fettuccine boscaiola was a winner! The chocolate souffle was dense, with an enjoyable rich flavor. The service was impeccable - friendly, attentive, with a lot of fun singing! Already planning my next visit - because who doesn’t want to relive a perfect Italian vacation over and over again? The chubby teddy bear with a lofty view, as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations, was an added bonus.
Great atmosphere, did not enjoy the chicken too much but all the other dishes were good.
This little Italian restaurant is hella good. You can tell the food is super fresh and made with love. The staff was straight from Napoli and he was super friendly. We ordered a few different items including burrata, pizza, and a pasta dish they stirred together inside a wheel of Parmesan cheese....glad they are open Mondays :) ...we’ll be back
